Do's & Don'ts
Sales Territory
DO NOT sell to these States: California, Iowa, Washington and Hawaii UNTIL we get seller of travel license for these states. DO NOT create your own travel website. If you would like to create a BLOG site, please contact Sandra to make sure your site is compliant if you wish to have quotes generated from your blog. All travel quotes MUST point to a page on the official CTM site. Social Media 1. If a team member is 1st to respond to a potential guest asking for help, DO NOT post your information below theirs. Do however say that you will be in good hands with this agent/planner. 2. If someone is recommended by a former guest, then also post that they are in good hands and DO NOT post your information on that thread. 3. If there is a group run by any of our agents, or they are they are the preferred agent in a group. DO NOT PRIVATE MESSAGE any of those members for business. Do accept referrals from past guests from those pages, but use #1 & #2 above for any posts on that group. |
Leads & Guest CommunicationsWhen given a lead from CTM , acknowledge during business hours receipt of quote request within ONE HOUR or lead will go to another agent. During the weekend or evenings, confirmation must be acknowledged by the next day before 10am.
All quote requests must have guest communication within TWO HOURS of receipt. If you cannot give the quote, at least acknowledge receipt of email to guest. All quotes should be made within 0-4 hours of receipt during business hours. During the weekend or evenings quotes can take longer and is up to your discretion. It should be noted that SPEED is the best way to secure a booking! and add your own words. |

FAMs, Events & Perks
FAMs:
FAMs (Familiarization Trips) are given and approved by Sandra. They are both for education and reward.
FAMs offered to you by suppliers must be approved by Sandra.
FAM/Supplier Event Conduct:
Attire: Business Casual for meetings and Theme Park Casual for park visits. Suppliers typically list a dress code for each event. If there is no dress code provided, opt towards the side of Business Casual.
Disney/Universal items. Please limit these to one. We must project professionalism. Never wear a Disney item to a Universal FAM and visa versa!
Behavior:
Be positive and grateful that you are attending. Do not speak poorly of other agents or agencies to others regardless of how they treat you (keep it within our team). Complaining or concerns should be emailed to me so I can directly address any issues with our sales managers. Do not offer any information to other agents or suppliers such as commission structure, marketing or business practices.
